Fun Friday Science Time

What a great Fun Friday! The kids loved having you help them build slides!!! Thank you for being so willing to jump right in there and have fun with science!

Recess Queen Stem Project

What a fun afternoon! This week we have been reading The Recess Queen. So for science we became engineers!! We broke up into groups and planned how to make a slide with the materials in the box.  Then after drawing their plan, they began to build.  It was wonderful to see them collaborate and work together as a team.  They could only build one slide as a team! I heard some beautiful words like "Wow that's a great idea" from one kid to another! Nothing like that to melt a teacher's heart! All of their slides could roll a marble but none were strong enough to slide a Care bear!!! We shall try again!
