Day 2 = FANTASTIC!!!

What a great first full day of school we had!!!It started off with morning prayer with the whole school.  We then read and put together a story about Chester the Raccoon and worked on recognizing the word "the"

 We had to take a brain break and move and groove!
Everyone dancing away!!

 We then worked on tracing our story about Chester...everyone worked sooooo hard! :)

 After that we worked on the number 2 and did our first math word problem!

And of course after lunch they were tired... look at how cute they are!!

 After rest we had Bible time and then we painted and played... I got busy with painting so I forgot to take pictures but there self portraits will be up on the wall soon for you to look at!!

Another great day! Rest up and we will see you tomorrow!!

First Day of Kindergarten!!!

What a great first day! The kiddos did an amazing job!!!

We started our day off with prayer with moms and dads!

 After unpacking we took our first group picture! :)

We then read The Kissing Hand and talked about the characters.. Chester and his mom and how Chester felt going to school for the first time.  Then the kiddos played and did a special craft of love!

 After recess we had math time.  The kids had to find all the squares that had a one in them and turn them a different color.  We started talking about the different patterns that we were seeing!

They also drew a picture of themselves and practiced writing their name!

And of course the first day of kindergarten should end with a little play time! :)
