Today we made our own set of resurrection eggs. This is a way to share the Easter story of how Jesus died and rose again for us! Thank you Jesus for dying for our sins.
Kyle is showing us the first egg! Jesus rode in on a donkey and the people shouted Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna in the Highest!
The 2nd egg is 30 pieces of silver that Judas got paid for betraying Jesus.

The 3rd egg is the cup. This reminds us of the last supper in which Jesus and his disciples shared.
Very focused on putting things in the eggs.
The 4th egg is praying hands. Jesus went to the garden to pray.
The 5th egg is leather. They whipped Jesus 39 times.
The 6th egg is a crown of thorns. They put giant thorns into a crown and shoved it on His head as they mocked Him.
The 7th egg is a cross made out of nails. They put nails into Jesus hands and feet and hung him on the cross.
The 8th egg is dice. The soldiers played a game (a mean game) for Jesus clothes.
The 9th egg. The soldiers put a spear into Jesus side to make sure that he was dead. We learned that it says in the Bible that NONE of Jesus' bones would be broken. Noah is showing us is fierce look with the spear!

The 10th egg is linen. They wrapped Jesus' body in linen and put him in the tomb.
The 11th egg is a stone, to remind us of the BIG stone used to cover the tomb! As the kiddos and I say, there is NO stone toooo big for JESUS!!
The last egg is empty, because Jesus is ALIVE!!!!! He is Risen, just as He said!!!
