We have been pumpkin Investigators!! First we measured our class pumpkin with unifix cubes. It was 17 cubes wide and 21 cubes tall.
We estimated it weighed around 20 pounds and had 30 ribs around it!
We then had to take out all the pulp (or the yucky stuff!) They did a great job cleaning the pumpkins out!
To continue our investigation we decide to have our pumpkin EXPLODE!!!!
Well not really explode, but more like ooze!!
We then labeled a pumpkin, learned the life cycle of a pumpkin seed, and used our senses to describe a pumpkin.
