Today we asked the question... Why did the gingerbread not swim across the river all by himself?

So we decided to find out..

We placed a gingerbread cookie into a container of water.

The kiddos observing what is happening..

After 20 minutes the frosting was coming off and he was getting fatter..

 After an hour the cookie was a soggy, and falling apart, and very mushy!

 Then of course we needed to try out a gingerbread cookie! :)
