Holland is one of my favorite places to visit with the kiddos! Sinter clause comes riding on a white horse off of a boat! So the little ones put their wooden shoes outside with carrots and hay for the horse and he replaces it with toys and or candy.
So before nap we put our shoes outside and put some carrots in them!
Well you wouldn't believe it but when we woke up no more carrots, but some yummy candy canes!! If you ask the kiddos they would even tell you they heard a horse in the hallway and that it ate some of their shoes! Hee hee!! :)
